Jamaican singer, author, and humanitarian — and mother of reggae icon Bob Marley — Cedella Marley Booker was a central figure in the Rastafarian community and a profound influence on her son’s music and philosophy. Known as ‘Mother B,’ she dedicated herself to spreading his message of peace and love. Many described being in her presence as a religious, even regal experience.
She viewed the herb as a sacred gift from nature and believed in its magical and medicinal qualities. People from every walk of life would visit her, presenting the latest strains of the plant, hoping to receive her blessing. Her son, Richard Booker, created this brand to honor her memory and carry her legacy forward.
